Thrive is compatible with ‘WiseChat’ plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wise-chat/) – Advanced chat plugin for WordPress. It requires no server, supports multiple channels, bad words filtering, appearance settings, bans and more.

To configure the ‘WiseChat’ plugin to look like the demo, please kindly follow the instructions below:

  1. Ensure that the ‘WiseChat’ plugin is ‘Installed’ and ‘Activated.’
  2. Go to your WordPress Dashboard’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Wise Chat Settings.’
  3. In your ‘Wise Chat Settings’ page you will notice a sidebar located at the left side that contains lists of ‘Panel Settings.’
  4. Please kindly go to each of the listed panels below in the ‘Left Sidebar’ and apply the instructed settings.
    • ‘General’ panel
      1. Inside this panel go to the ‘Disable Anonymous Users’ settings and check the checkbox labeled ‘Only regular WP users are allowed to enter the chat. Choose user roles below.’
      2. Finally, click the ‘Save Changes’ button.
    • ‘Appearance’ panel
      1. Inside this panel go to the ‘Theme’ setting and select ‘Cold Dark’ in the drop-down selection.
      2. Finally, click the ‘Save Changes’ button.

You have now properly configured the ‘Wise Chat’ plugin to cater the ‘Thrive Intranet and Extranet Demo’ in your site. Now, please kindly proceed to the next page of the documentation to configure your ‘BuddyPress Settings.’
