We are now going to configure the ‘BuddyPress Settings‘ page in accordance with the ‘Thrive E-Learning Demo’ configuration.  Please kindly follow the instructions below to configure the ‘BuddyPress‘ plugin:

BuddyPress Settings > Components Tab:

  1. Go to your ‘WordPress Dashboard’ > ‘Setting’ > ‘BuddyPress.’
  2. In your ‘BuddyPress Settings’ page go to the ‘Components’ tab and check the following ‘BuddyPress Components‘ below.
    • Friend Connections
    • Private Messaging
    • User Groups
  3. Finally, click ‘Save Settings’ button.

BuddyPress Settings > Pages Tab:

  1. Go to your ‘WordPress Dashboard’ > ‘Setting’ > ‘BuddyPress.’
  2. In your ‘BuddyPress Settings’ page go to the ‘Pages’ tab and assign the following pages to the following drop-downs below.
    • Directory‘ section:
      • Members‘ drop-down: Members
      • Activity Stream‘ drop-down: Activity
      • User Groups‘ drop-down: Groups
    • Registration‘ section:
      • Register‘ drop-down: Register
      • Activate‘ drop-down: Activate
  3. Finally, click ‘Save Settings’ button.

BuddyPress Settings > Settings Tab:

  1. Go to your ‘WordPress Dashboard’ > ‘Setting’ > ‘BuddyPress.’
  2. In your ‘BuddyPress Settings’ page go to the ‘Settings’ tab and check the following checkbox below.
    • Blog & Forum Comments
  3. Finally, click ‘Save Settings’ button.
